Welcome to carnival our way! we will be celebrating Carnival in Salvador Bahia, Brazil is the most African city outside of Africa. this is a cultural experience! you also have the opportunity to participate in the parade. We will also stop over to Rio to experience christ the redeemer!

Day 1: Saturday 10, February 2024: Salvador

Welcome to Salvador de Bahia! Famous for its Portuguese colonial architecture, its Afro-Brazilian

culture, and its tropical coastline.

HISTORICAL ROUTE WITH FREE TIME TO ENJOY THE CARNIVAL IN PELOURINHO

 Total duration: 6 hours.

This itinerary will be very different from the regular days, as it does not have open museums and

churches in the carnival period, and many avenues and/or streets are closed to access.

Departure from the hotel driving along the waterfront to the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, following the

Dique do Tororo to Pelourinho. Walking tour to discover the Historic Center of Pelourinho and time to

enjoy the street carnival with the small local bands.

If you like you can wear your costumes.

Optional: Add an extra hour bus and guide to assist youo in the carnival street. – GROSS

Day 3: Monday 12, February 2024: Salvador (B)

GUIDE AND BUS TO TAKE YOU TO THE BARRA ONDINA CARNIVAL CIRCUIT

 Total duration: 8 hours.

The Barra Ondina circuit is approximately 3km long. On one side is the sea, on the other, the cabins,

and in the middle are the blocks with the electric trios on the track.

If the group’s preference is to enjoy in a carnival block (behind the electric trio), get ready for about 6

hours of revelry. It requires physical preparation, and you will basically enjoy a band, the one that

plays in the electric trio. If you want to enjoy more attractions, don't hesitate, to go for a cabin

(boxes). The rule is simple, as more expensive the cabin, better is the service. You will have comfort,

an open bar only or all-inclusive services, and be free from the crowd. If you want, you can go down,

take a walk, and return to the cabin.

The Rates of the cabins (boxes) varies between GROSS USD$130-$530.00 per person.

**The price depends on the infrastructure, the day and the Food & Beverage included.

The Rates of the “Abada” (it´s official t-shirt that counts as a ticket to enter the revelry, in the carnival

block. All people who buy this t-shirt will have access to walk behind the electric trio for approx. 3

hours on the Barra – Ondina circuit). The price varies between GROSS USD$130-400.00 per

person.

Importantly, the group needs to be informed that the coach that will take them to participate in the

carnival does not arrive close to the cabin or to the Electric Trio. The group will have to walk about 15

minutes through the crowd.

Day 4: Tuesday 13, February 2024: Salvador (B)

HALF DAY PANORAMIC CITY TOUR

 Total duration: 4 hours.

In this tour, we will make a lovely stroll along the Cidade Baixa of Salvador. A place full of history,

culture and stunning scenery, starting with the view to the Itapagipe peninsula. A brief stop at the

famous Ice Cream from Ribeira, to cool off with a delicious ice cream made from typical fruits and

flavors you will not find elsewhere. We continue our tour visiting the famous Church of Nosso Senhor

do Bonfim, that every 2nd Thursday of January, becomes the scene of one of the biggest parties that

celebrate religiosity in Bahia. Following towards the Mont Serrat, we visit the Fort Mont Serrat, which

retains some original copies of war weaponry. Right on the side, we will visit the Ponta de Humaita,

where the Sunset leave you spellbound. The tour ends with a free time for shopping in the Mercado

Modelo, the biggest local handcraft center in Bahia.

Day 5: Wednesday 14, February 2024: Salvador - Rio De Janeiro (B)

Day 6: Thursday 15, February 2024: Rio De Janeiro (BL)

FULL DAY SUGAR LOAF + CORCOVADO WITH LUNCH – Duration 8 hours. – Private service

with English speaking guide assistance.

Proceed for a tour of Corcovado Mountain and Beaches. Board a cog train from Cosme Velho Station

for a ride to Corcovado Mountain to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the gigantic statue

of Christ the Redeemer. Experience the 20 minutes’ steep train journey which takes you through the

dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca, offering a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest's

lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and city. You will disembark at

the top of Corcovado and then proceed up the steps that lead to the top lookout where the towering

statue of Christ the Redeemer stands, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Get up-close to Christ

the Redeemer and spend some time viewing the panoramic view of this beautiful city of Rio from the

incredible mountain-top vantage point. Then, you will descend by the train. The tour continues passing

by Rios world-famous beaches.

Lunch at local restaurant (beverages not included)

After lunch, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca where one of the largest symbols of the city

is located: Sugar Loaf. You will travel all the way to the top in two steps by cable car. The first cable

car will take you to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high for which already grants beautiful views

of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Corcovado Mountain. From this stage, a

second cable car takes you up to the top. At 395 meters, you will enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and several beaches of Niterói. After riding the Cable car back down,

return to the hotel.
